Keeping It Real: Traditional Film Processing at Print35

In a world of instant filters and digital perfection, there’s something beautifully timeless about traditional film photography. The grain, the tones, the surprise of opening up a freshly developed roll — it all reminds us that photography is as much about the process as the result.

At Print35, we don’t just process film — we live it. While many photo labs around the country stopped offering film development services, we never did. We’ve always believed in the magic of analogue photography, and we’ve stayed true to it. Today, we’re one of the busiest and most experienced film labs in Ireland, trusted by photographers across the country to handle their rolls with care, precision, and expertise.

Why Choose Film?

Film photography has seen a huge resurgence in recent years. There’s a growing appreciation for the depth, texture and honesty that film brings to an image. No two rolls are ever quite the same, and each frame feels intentional — considered.

Shooting on film slows you down. It teaches you to frame carefully, expose correctly, and trust your instincts. And when you get your scans back, the payoff is magic.

Experts in Film Processing

Black and white film development in Ireland

At Print35, film isn’t a side service — it’s at the heart of what we do. From day one, we’ve specialised in traditional film processing, and it remains one of the biggest parts of our business.

Whether you’re a seasoned pro shooting medium format or a student loading your first roll of 35mm, you’ll find a team here who knows what they’re doing — and who genuinely care about helping you get the best out of your film.

We process thousands of rolls every year, and our customers keep coming back because they know they can trust us.

What We Process

We develop a wide range of film formats, including:

  • 35mm film (colour C-41 and black & white)
  • 120 medium format film
  • Disposable camera film
  • Push and pull processing
  • Slide film (E-6) – available by request

All processing is done in-house by experienced lab technicians using professional-grade equipment and quality-controlled chemistry. We take our time and treat every roll like it matters — because it does.
